Vašek, an energetic and enterprising boy raised by his mother Anna, a ballet dancer, longs for a normal family and especially a father. During a ski holiday in the Krkonoše Mountains he befriends the charming Ľuboš and decides to turn him into his mother’s partner and his own father, unaware that Ľuboš is in fact his real, long-concealed parent. What begins as innocent matchmaking unfolds into a mix of comedy and emotion as Anna and Ľuboš attempt to rebuild their relationship after years apart, struggle with differing personalities and doubts about living together, while Vašek finally experiences the long-dreamed-of adventures with his father and refuses to give up on the dream of a complete family.
